One of Jerusalem's most appealing neighbourhoods for short-term visitors - beautifully restored stone houses, a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, and a strong sense of neighbourhood life. The area has excellent cafes, independent restaurants, and local shops along its main streets, alongside a growing Anglo-Jewish community and several shuls within easy walking distance. More affordable than neighbouring Katamon and the German Colony, yet with a distinctive character all its own.
